Festival Foods in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Meat Assistant Department Manager to lead daily operations, mentor teammates, and ensure top-quality products and service.

You’ll collaborate with the Meat Department Manager, maintain stock accuracy and pricing, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting.

This full-time role requires leadership experience, a WI Certified Food Manager License, and a commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 3+ years leadership experience in retail, food service, fast food or restaurant preferred.
• WI Certified Food Manager License (Festival to reimburse if obtained while employed).
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with technology and computer systems.
• Solid understanding of warehouse stock management and inventory control.

Responsabilités

• As a Meat Assistant Manager, you will lead daily operations in the absence of the Meat Department Manager.
• Train, mentor and develop associates to create a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with the Meat Department Manager to conduct performance reviews and place corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure accurate pricing and merchandising.
• Provide expert guidance on meat selection and preparation to help guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace in line with company standards.
• Monitor sales and inventory to maximize department profitability.
• Work with Store Director and department leaders to exceed expectations.
