Festival Foods in De Pere, WI is seeking a Meat Service Counter Manager to lead our fresh meat and seafood counter. You will coach a team of sales associates to deliver standout guest service, maintain a clean, stocked counter, and model exceptional teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will ensure safety, schedule coverage, and accurate merchandising while developing staff and maintaining quality standards across shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for a diverse crew in a high-stress environment.
• Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Knowledge of equipment and procedures: slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor and baler.

Aufgaben

• Coach, train, and support the Meat Service Counter team—set clear expectations and foster guest service accountability.
• Create and manage weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage while balancing labor goals.
• Package, label, and merchandise products in the service case with quality, freshness, and visual appeal.
• Maintain clean, organized, food-safe workspaces with sanitation and restocking practices.
• Monitor product rotation, case presentation, and temperature logs for food safety and policy compliance.
• Communicate performance feedback and department execution to the Meat Department Manager.
• Ensure inventory of packaging materials and counter supplies, replenishing as needed.
• Lead by example behind the counter and on the sales floor, ensuring safe equipment use and high service standards.
• Perform other duties and uphold attendance commitments as needed.
