Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help ensure fresh displays, assist with sampling, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean work areas, and follow Weights and Measures procedures, with opportunities to engage in team trainings and store initiatives.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in cold/wet environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, models suggestive selling techniques.
