You will support health and safety regulations and assist with other department duties as needed. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds, work flexible hours, and handle knives and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Duties include counter service, stocking, sanitation within the meat department.
• Adheres to health, safety, and sanitation regulations; follows Weights and Measures procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; keep cases and shelves stocked.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Support sampling program; keep areas clean and attractive.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, drains.
• Arrive on time; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service; use suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales via proper stocking, rotation, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures and safety rules; adhere to quality goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work and shopping environment; keep equipment clean.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify pricing and signage.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
