Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a Meat Department Associate to wrap, weigh, and price poultry and meat while providing outstanding customer service. You will operate wrapping machines and maintain clean, well-stocked department areas, working 9:00 am–10:00 pm shifts.

The role involves following safety and sanitation guidelines, mastering labeling and product dating, and supporting the Meat Cutters and Dept. Manager as needed. Physical tasks include lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification required per state laws.
• Ability to operate wrapping machine and scales.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for long periods in refrigerated areas.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, and price poultry and meat.
• Provide world-class customer service.
• Maintain department cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist Meat Cutters/Department Manager as needed.
• Work varied shifts between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm.
