Job summary

WinCo Foods in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Meat Department Associate to wrap, weigh, and price meat, operate wrapping machines, and deliver world-class customer service. You will maintain cleanliness and assist Meat Cutters while learning basic meat cutting skills.

Expect 6-8 hour shifts between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Experience in a grocery setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide friendly, courteous customer service.
• Ability to read production guides and product labels.
• Able to perform basic math for weights and measures.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, tray, grind, wrap, and price meat and poultry.
• Operate wrapping machine and assist in meat department.
• Maintain cleanliness of department and equipment and ensure product quality.
