Job summary

WinCo Foods is hiring a Meat Department Associate in Renton. You will ensure meat is wrapped, weighed, categorized, and priced properly, operate wrapping equipment, and provide world-class customer service while maintaining product quality and department cleanliness.

You will perform duties such as weighing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking poultry and meat, assist in training, and comply with safety and sanitation policies in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• Meets requirements for meat department roles and safety standards.
• Ability to read and follow production guides and labeling.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, tray, grind, wrap and price poultry and meat.
• Maintain department cleanliness and sanitation per policies.
• Provide friendly, world-class customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist Meat Cutters and Department Manager as needed.
• Support proper merchandising and stock rotation in retail cases.
