Job summary

The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math, and physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs. You will work in refrigerated environments and varying temperatures, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 35 lbs., occasionally 80-90 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work with products and substances without allergic issues.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Check refrigeration equipment for proper performance; report issues.
• Stock merchandise and display cases.
• Check prices and know locations of items in the store.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Dress and groom according to company policy; wear uniform and badge.
