Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Texas is seeking entry-level Team Members for the Meat Department. You will support counter service, stocking, and sanitation while upholding health and safety standards and promoting the company image through courteous service.

You will help maintain clean displays, assist with sampling, and provide friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn product knowledge across department offerings.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers and Team Members effectively.
• Attention to quality and freshness, with the ability to assess product condition.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays and keeps cases and shelves stocked and clean.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling, keeps sample areas clean and inviting.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors and drains as required.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, stocks and merchandise products to maximize sales.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains a clean environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and follows leadership directions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
