Price Rite of NEW BEDFORD is hiring a Meat Department Supervisor, full-time, to lead the Meat & Perishable team. You will direct staff, manage inventory, and maintain store presentation while safeguarding company assets and customer service standards.

The role requires supervisory experience in meat, strong English communication, and the ability to lift heavy items. A High School diploma is required; some college is preferred, with opportunities for cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow directions.
• Must lift up to 75 lbs and work in cool temperatures.
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Prior meat department supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop and manage the Meat Department staff.
• Order, receive and inventory department products.
• Organize and maintain coolers, freezers and cases.
• Stock, merchandise and sign meat department to maximize sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate with management and achieve sales goals.
