Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food safety certification/training preferred as per local regulations.
• No prior meat department experience required.
• Willingness to learn meat handling and sanitation.
• Experience with wrapping, labeling, weighing and stocking meat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Wrap, label, weigh, and price meat products accurately.
• Stock meat cases and rotate products for freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department following safety standards.
• Assist with meat preparation tasks as trained and operate equipment safely.
• Ensure proper storage of meat products to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals.
