Job summary

Whole Foods Market in New Jersey is seeking a Team Member for the meat department to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will interact with customers, maintain displays, assist with sampling, and ensure safety and cleanliness while following SOPs.

This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and department procedures.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing display; check quality; stock cases and shelves.
• Maintain back stock; assist sampling program.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors and drains.
• Arrive on time; attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service; use suggestive selling; answer phones.
• Ensure signage and pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and follow leadership instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
