Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the meat department. Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, and assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Experience with meat wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior meat/deli department experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meat products and seafood.
• Assist the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspect and store meat upon delivery and ensure quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the meat department.
