Responsibilities

• Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial goals.
• Respond to customer inquiries and special orders.
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities (prep, packaging, stocking, merchandising).
• Maintain displays per company standards.
• Implement promotions and seasonal programs.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory compliance.
• Review results and adjust activities for yield and profitability.
• Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, reclamation, and expenses.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas including cold rooms and equipment.
• Schedule, train, coach, and oversee associates for coverage.
