Job summary

Role Overview: This position involves leading daily department operations in a retail store to ensure staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards, while achieving key performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory, ensuring product freshness and quality through inventory control procedures.
• Review received orders for accuracy, condition, and proper storage.
• Manage a team responsible for stocking, production, and handling spoiled/damaged products.
• Stay familiar with products and sales features, and communicate and execute the Flight Plan.
• Follow policies and utilize tools for scheduling, labor, and payroll management.
• Implement company core values, oversee staffing, training, performance, and career development.
• Develop and monitor departmental goals and forecasts.
• Ensure a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, maintaining food safety and safety standards.
• Participate in meetings and maintain compliance with safety and food safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred; supervisory experience desirable.

Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills are essential. Knowledge of retail operations and systems, proficiency in MS Office, and bilingual ability (Spanish) are advantageous.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in a retail environment with varied temperatures and weather conditions.
