Albertsons Companies is seeking a Meat Department Manager to lead daily Meat Department operations, uphold food safety standards, and ensure exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail setting.

You will drive sales, monitor inventory, and coach team members to deliver high-quality product and a positive shopping experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Meat Department operations and people.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and product freshness.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial expectations.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused environment and respond to inquiries.
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities including preparation, packaging, stocking, and merchandising.
• Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to company standards.
• Implement promotional and seasonal programs as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory requirements.
• Review production results and adjust activities to support yield and profitability goals.
• Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, reclamation, and departmental expenses.
• Schedule, train, coach, and oversee associates to ensure coverage and performance expectations.
