Giant Eagle is seeking a Meat Team Leader to manage the Meat Team and uphold department performance. You will lead by example, foster inclusion, coach team members, and drive success with timely feedback.

You will oversee all responsibilities from hiring to scheduling, ensure safety, and support growth opportunities for team members while maintaining high standards of service and product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervision.
• Meat department knowledge and product awareness.
• Satisfactory performance and discipline record.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Appraise Team Members' productivity and efficiency for promotions or changes in status.
• Discipline Team Members and handle issues as needed.
• Plan and distribute work; ensure safety and security of the team and store.
• Manage department budget and inventory; monitor shrink and compliance.
