Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking a Meat Department Leader to train staff, uphold safety standards, and drive customer service excellence across Southern California stores. You will manage inventory, supervise daily operations, and ensure adherence to company policies while delivering quality products and friendly service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in meat operations, a high school diploma, and willingness to relocate within 20 miles.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of meat department operations experience.
• Willing to relocate to a store within 20 miles from home if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, select, onboard, coach, and develop the best associates possible to achieve store, company, strategic and tactical goals.
• Set clear performance expectations for associates and follow up with timely performance evaluations and proper compensation.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations (e.g. weight and measures, COOL).
• Maintain inventory levels to maximize sales and optimize gross profit and follow merchandising standards.
• Enforce proper PLU usage and ensure correct price labels and tags.
• Greet customers and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Oversee meat cuts trimming and display to standards.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping per store policy and health regulations.
• Participate in store safety committee and safety trainings.
