Coborn’s is seeking a Meat Department Assistant Manager in Long Prairie, MN to support the Meat Department Manager in daily operations and leadership. You will help prepare products for sale, manage freshness, and ensure quality through coding, rotation, and culling processes.

You will also direct staff in workload, coaching, training, and performance evaluations while handling customer service, inventory controls, and shrink. This role emphasizes teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat Department Manager in all facets of meat department operations.
• Prepare products for sale.
• Control freshness by coding, rotating, or culling all products; remove out-of-code merchandise.
• Direct staff when in charge of the department; direct workload, counsel, train, and evaluate performance.
• Support customer service, expense control, inventory, shrink, and accurate record keeping.
