Job summary

Coborn’s is seeking a Meat Department Assistant Manager to support the Meat Department Manager in all aspects of department operations. You will help prepare products for sale, rotate stock, and remove out-of-code merchandise while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll supervise staff, coach performance, and assist with budgeting, inventory, and vendor relations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and freshness in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Experience in retail meat operations preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and assign workloads.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat Department Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare products for sale and ensure proper labeling and rotation.
• Direct staff, train, and evaluate performance.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and record keeping.
