Qualifications

• Current Food Handler’s Permit
• Familiarity with cuts of beef, pork, chicken, turkey, seafood
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff and customers
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor meat department associates
• Ensure quality, freshness, and proper product assortment
• Verify pricing, signage, and ad item accuracy
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards
• Schedule meat department coverage to meet labor goals
• Forecast production and inventory needs based on sales trends
• Cut meats and grind hamburger/sausage as needed
