Harmons Grocery in Holladay, UT seeks a Meat Department Lead to supervise and mentor the Meat team, determine production and inventory levels, and ensure quality across all cuts. You will also manage pricing, signage, and daily operations to meet safety and productivity standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for meat products. Weekend/evening shifts are expected in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• Five years of meat experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills to manage diverse teams.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Follow departmental policies and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure quality, freshness, and proper assortment of Meat products.
• Maintain inventory levels and correct pricing/signage.
• Teach and mentor Meat associates; write schedules for coverage.
• Cut, grind beef, pork, poultry, seafood as needed.
• Deliver strong customer service and handle staff concerns.
• Coordinate production sheets based on sales forecasts.
• Perform quarterly Meat department inventory.
