Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a meat department associate to join our team at 2065 Springwood Road. The role involves receiving and unloading shipments, pricing products, stocking cases, and ensuring product rotation and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of retail experience, with strong customer service and adherence to labeling laws. Work is performed in a fast-paced retail environment with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures for receiving and unloading shipments, pricing products and stocking cases to ensure quality and proper rotation.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment per safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and labeling laws.
• Greets customers and takes orders.
• Cuts, trays, and packages meat and seafood products as required.
• Follows safety practices when using knives and cutting tools.
• Assists in pre-inventory preparation and back stock management.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
