Weis Markets is seeking a meat department associate to join our team. You will help keep cases stocked and appealing, greet customers, take orders for future delivery, and assist with displays and pricing to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include ensuring freshness, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and cooperating with coworkers to maintain smooth department operations. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps meat department cases stocked and appealing, greets customers, and answers questions.
• Sets up displays, ensures fresh, correctly priced products with signage.
• May grind/cut meats and poultry as needed; wraps merchandise on request.
• Maintains logs for freshness, follows PPE and safety rules.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries as trained.
• Maintains sanitation and helps others to ensure smooth department operation.
• Cooperates with team to minimize shrink and resolve customer concerns.
• No supervisory responsibilities at this time.
