Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to engage customers with a courteous, helpful manner.
• Experience with product knowledge across meat department items is a plus.
• Attention to quality and freshness of products.
• Read labels and stay informed about product offerings.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; keep cases clean and stocked.
• Maintain back stock in order.
• Assist with sampling areas and keep them clean.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, floors, and equipment.
• Arrive on time and prepared for shifts and trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Follow procedures for pricing and safety practices.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work and shopping areas.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
