Job summary

Save A Lot - Sioux City is seeking a Meat Department teammate to stock and organize meat products, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure food safety throughout shifts. You will rotate products for freshness and assist with deliveries, working closely with teammates to hit daily targets.

The role emphasizes reliable, motivated individuals with a willingness to learn and contribute to a high‑quality grocery experience for customers in Sioux City.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools, and power equipment, including but not limited to knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stocking fresh, frozen, and packaged meat products
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of meat department areas, tools, and equipment
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory
• Provide support to the meat department team and follow all food safety guidelines
• Keep displays organized, attractive, and fully stocked throughout the day
• Follow department procedures and work alongside team members to meet daily goals
