Job Summary: As a Meat Clerk at Broulim’s , you'll be an essential part of our meat department, responsible for assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the meat counter. Examples of Duties:

• Assist customers in selecting, weighing, and packaging meat products.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat department, including regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment.


• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming meat products within the department and deli wall , rotating inventory to ensure freshness.


• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about various meat cuts and products.


• Operate and maintain meat department equipment, such as scales and slicers.


• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and contribute to a positive working environment.

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with various meat cuts and preparation techniques and a willingness to learn best cuts for certain meat dishes.


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.


• Basic understanding of meat department equipment and tools.

Skills:

• Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organized meat department.
