Responsibilities

• Perform general meat department prep, clean-up, and stock work while providing customer service.
• Cut, grind, slice, prep, process, trim, seal, package, label, and merchandise meat products.
• Keep department temperature logs updated and maintained, rotate stock for freshness.
• Stock and display meat items safely and in accordance with standards, keeping areas clean and organized.
• Check product quality and ensure proper dating and rotation; unload trucks and place orders in coolers as needed.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per company and health department policies.
• Provide a friendly impression on customers and assist them promptly and cheerfully.
• Increase store sales and profits in conjunction with operations and marketing programs.
