Pay Range

$20.00 - $25.00

Summary

• Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.
• Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales.
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service and courtesy on an ongoing basis.
• Must adhere to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Cut and prepare meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders.
• Ensure proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Adhere to all corporate meat department procedures and standards (i.e., case layout and trim specifications).
• Adhere to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines (i.e., corporate and state inspection standards).
• Receive all meat products delivered to the store (i.e., DSD and warehouse deliveries).
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.
• Strong communication skills and satisfactory performance reviews.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Basic computer skills.
