• Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, labeling, and pricing meat.
• Keep department temperature logs updated.
• Stock and display meat items safely and in accordance with standards.
• Check product quality and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Maintain clean and organized sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
• Unload trucks and sort orders, placing items in proper coolers.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Increase store sales in alignment with operations and marketing.
• Follow company policies regarding harassment and safety.
• Work calmly in a fast-paced environment and handle conflicts professionally.
