Responsibilities include maintaining temperature logs, rotating stock, keeping areas clean, and communicating effectively with customers and associates to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs and product labels.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of handling stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Meat department or similar food-prep experience preferred.
• Reliable work history demonstrating integrity.
• Familiarity with safety and food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, packaging, and labeling meat products.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs and safely stock meat items.
• Ensure cleanliness of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
• Rotate stock properly and check product quality for freshness.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and assist store operations.
