H-E-B is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide a well-stocked department and superior customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily while upholding food safety standards.

Responsibilities include cutting, trimming, and displaying meat, operating grinders and slicers, labeling packages, and assisting customers with selections in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, trims, bones meat for display or as ordered by Customer, according to company standards
• Operates electric grinder, saw, knife sharpener, tenderizer, slicer
• Weighs / wraps / labels product packages for counter display; rotates product as needed
• Scans in items on Telxon for production
• Cleans and sanitizes display cases; properly operates / maintains equipment
• Complies with food safety and sanitation standards
• Provides superior customer service and assists customers with product selections
