Job summary

Joe V’s Smart Shop, a division of H-E-B, is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide fresh, quality meat and excellent customer service in a high-volume department.

You will cut, trim, weigh, wrap, and label products, operate grinders and slicers, rotate stock, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

Candidates should have experience in fast-paced retail, strong communication and teamwork, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Age 18+.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of meat department SOPs and product rotation.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, trims, trays, and wraps meat for display.
• Operates grinder, saw, sharpener, tenderizer, slicer.
• Labels products and ensures proper storage and freshness.
• Provides great customer service and assists with selections.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards.
