Costco Wholesale in the United States seeks a Meat Cutter to cut, trim, and prepare meat for sale while delivering a high level of member service.

You will operate band saws, knives, grinders, and tenderizers, transfer meat to trays, stock displays, and follow safety and health procedures. This role requires routine equipment maintenance and teamwork across departments, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and trims meat to Costco specification using band saw and knives.
• Operates tenderizing machine and grinder; transfers cut and ground meat to styrofoam trays.
• Loads trays onto large plastic tray and moves to display or wrapping area; follows safety procedures.
• Assists with wrapping and stocking meat display according to plan; re-stocks supplies up to 99 lbs.
• Inspects and reassembles equipment, maintains daily production needs; rotates product.
• Cleans and sanitizes the area; adheres to health code and proper temperatures.
• Performs routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Provides prompt and courteous member service.
• Assists in other departments and meets business needs.
