Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene, NH is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, package, and merchandise local meat and seafood while delivering great customer service in a fast-paced cooperative setting.

You will stock departments, assist in displays, follow health and safety standards, and collaborate with managers; prior experience in retail meat is preferred, with benefits including discount, 401k, health coverage.

Qualifications

• Regularly lift 50lbs safely and stand for extended periods.
• Cut and grind meats as directed by leads and follow recipes.
• Maintain sanitary, organized work area and accurate labeling.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and maintain cases to keep a full, fresh department.
• Cut, package and merch meat products with uniform signage.
• Assist in planning displays and place items with correct labeling.
• Follow health and safety standards and USDA/NH requirements.
• Assist training of coworkers and place orders with vendors.
