Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Meat Cutter or Meat Cutter Apprentice.
• Entry-level leader in the Meat Department who supports daily operations and guides team members.
• Contributes to achieving team goals and maintains Meijer standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience.
• Communicate with team and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Assist with training new team members and cross-training high-potential talent.
• Assist with department scheduling to optimize engagement, service, and store profitability.
• Ensure product freshness and proper rotation/dating policies.
