Job Opening: Meat Cutter at Wooster Milltown Buehler's Fresh Foods

Position: Senior Meat Cutter

The Senior Meat Cutter is proficient in all aspects of meat production as per Department standards. This role involves working in the Cutting Room and preparing meat items for sale. Responsibilities include following cutting lists for maximum yield and productivity, answering customer requests, providing custom cuts, grinding, chipping, chopping, wrapping, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and machine maintenance. Secondary duties may include working on the sales floor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, and assisting customers during evening or weekend shifts.

Requirements:

1. Availability: Must be available to work 35+ hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
2. Experience: Must be trained and experienced in all phases of meat production.
3. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, stoop, pull, and push, with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
4. Other Considerations: Focus on productivity, customer relations, ability to work with minimal supervision, reliability, and dependability.
