Job summary

Kj’s Market in Grovetown, GA is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our meat department. You will provide friendly service, prepare products for sale, and ensure accurate pricing, stocking, rotation, and freshness of frozen and fresh meats.

You will handle special cuts and requests, maintain sanitation, report temperature issues, announce sale items over the PA system, assist with receiving and storage, and perform other tasks as assigned by management. Previous meat cutting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to guests.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and fresh meats.
• Provides special customer service requests (e.g., special cuts, slicing).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items over PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.

• 6. Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
