Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knife handling skills and speed for cutting, trimming and wrapping.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and cut meat to specifications for variety, size, quality and trim.
• Prepare and package meat products; process orders to customer specs.
• Operate department equipment safely and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Restock and rotate meat products; ensure freshness and proper labeling.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and support merchandising plans in the department.
