Job summary

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment safely, rotating stock, keeping logs, and upholding health and safety standards while delivering excellent service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

• Must work with cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, labeling, dating, scaling, merchandising, selling, serving customers and other functions in accordance with company policies.
• Keep department temperature logs accurately updated and maintained.
• Stock and display meat items safely and in accordance with company standards.
• Check product quality; rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, coolers, floors and carts clean and well organized.
• Provide good customer and associate relations and communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
• Unload trucks, sort orders, and place in proper cooler locations.
• Wash and sanitize equipment according to company and health department policies.
