Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, labeling, scaling, merchandising, selling and serving customers.
• Keep department temperature logs accurately updated and maintained.
• Stock and display meat items safely and in accordance with standards.
• Check product quality; ensure rotation and freshness.
• Maintain clean and organized sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies in designated areas.
• Wash and sanitize equipment in accordance with policies and health department procedures.
• Provide friendly customer interactions and assist with purchases.
• Unloading trucks and sorting orders for proper cooler placement.
• Increase store sales and profits in line with marketing programs.
• Adhere to policies ensuring a harassment- and discrimination-free workplace.
