Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Meat department associate to handle general product preparation, stock, and customer service. You will cut, package, label, and merchandise meat products while upholding Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

You will maintain temperature logs, rotate stock, ensure cleanliness, greet customers, and support store operations and marketing programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform meat preparation tasks including cutting, grinding, slicing, packaging, labeling.
• Stock and display meat items safely; rotate for freshness.
• Keep department clean, logs updated, and equipment sanitized.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist customers.
• Unload trucks, sort orders, and place in proper cooler locations.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a harassment-free work environment.
