Kj’s Market in Aiken, SC is hiring for a Meat Cutter to provide friendly, attentive service and expertly prepare meat products. You’ll handle cutting, trimming, weighing, pricing, and stock rotation while ensuring quality and freshness for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Experience in meat cutting preferred.
• Able to work in cold environment and stand for long periods.
• Willing to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality; able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special guests service requests (ie. special cuts, slicing, etc.).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
