Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking a Meat Department Associate to support daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to meet fresh meat cut requirements and assist in writing orders.

Weekend availability is required, with shifts between 5am - 4pm Sun - Sat. You will organize deliveries, stock shelves, sanitize the cut room, and maintain strong customer and team relationships.

Qualifications

• Understanding of weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience with product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) applications.
• Current forklift/handjack license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Stocking and conditioning in the meat department
• Cleaning and sanitizing meat cut room
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
