Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring for a meat processing role in Michigan. You will assist in daily cutting of fresh beef and pork and follow the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts.

You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues while upholding safety and sanitation standards. This position supports Meijer’s commitment to community and career growth.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current hand jack/hoist license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
