Job summary

Meijer in Livonia, MI is seeking a Meat Cutter for full-time and part-time roles at West 7 Mile Rd. You will cut beef, pork, and grind, follow production schedules, and keep meat cases full and fresh while delivering excellent customer service.

Must be 18+; experience in meat processing, packaging, safety procedures, inventory control, and using order software is preferred. Weekly pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
