Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule availability is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Retail meat department experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop product knowledge across department and cook procedures.
• Master department equipment, hardware, software, and tasks.
• Perform meat cutting: scraping, packaging, cubing, grinding, and processing per standards.
• Identify, wrap, price, and weigh department items as per policies.
• Stock fresh and frozen products with proper rotation.
• Receive meat deliveries, code, rotate, and store properly.
• Maintain clean equipment, tables, floors, grinders, coolers, and production areas.
• Label packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards.
