Job summary

HANOVER CONSUMER COOP SOCIETY is seeking a Meat Cutter to support our meat/seafood counters and assist customers with knowledge on product preparation, handling, and storage. The role requires handling fresh products, maintaining cleanliness, and providing courteous service to every guest.

Responsibilities include cutting, trimming, bone removal, and wrapping of meat, ensuring freshness and safety, and following department procedures and Co-op policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two plus years of knowledge of meat products and cutting techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, bone, and clean meat and poultry products.
• Monitor rotation to ensure freshness.
• Advise customers on quality and handling methods.
