Job summary

Meijer in Findlay, OH is seeking a Meat Cutter assistant to help with daily cutting of fresh beef, pork and grind, and to follow the production schedule for advertised fresh meat cuts.

You'll assist in writing meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members while upholding safety and sanitation procedures. Prior experience with meat packaging and inventory is preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures used in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in presenting and packaging products.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current forklift (handjack/hilo) license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities
