Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter for its Houston Metro Region stores. The Meat Cutter will break, cut, and prepare meat products according to company standards and customer orders. This role involves working closely with customers and team members to ensure meat products are quality prepared and displayed.

Physical requirements include heavy lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling for prolonged periods. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for this position.

Job description

We are searching for anexperienced Meat Cutter for our Houston Metro Region stores.

Under direct supervision, the Meat Cutter breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products, using hand tools and power equipment, in the variety, size, quantity, and trim prescribed by company standards. Meat products are prepared for display or as ordered by customers. Works with customers to take special orders. Works with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to perform very heavy lifting, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
